ABOUT HELENA & MAZZOH
MAZZOH is a natural extension of Helena's artistic world, where fine art and timeless elegance come together.
Long before MAZZOH was created, Helena spent countless hours surrounded by buttons, fabrics, and sewing treasures in her grandmother's home, small remnants of her grandfather's career in fine men's shirtmaking. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong fascination with creativity, beauty, and craftsmanship.
During her childhood, Helena also faced years of hospital visits and multiple surgeries. Throughout those challenging years, creativity became a source of comfort, strength, and hope. Among fabrics, pencils, buttons, and paint, she discovered a world without limitations, a place where imagination could flourish and dreams could take shape.
From an early age, Helena dreamed of becoming an artist, a designer, a photographer, and a makeup artist. Today, those creative passions form the foundation of her work, shaping a career that seamlessly blends fine art, design, photography, and visual storytelling.
Helena is a Swedish artist whose work has been exhibited internationally for more than a decade. Her journey onto the global art scene began in 2008 when she was invited through the Saatchi Gallery in London to exhibit at Opera Gallery in Budapest. This opportunity opened the door to a series of international exhibitions and collaborations. Alongside her international career, Helena also exhibited her artwork for three years at Kabusa Art Gallery in Österlen.
Between 2009 and 2018, Helena exhibited regularly through two galleries in Los Angeles, collaborated with a London-based gallerist, and participated in a group exhibition at the Louvre in Paris. Her work has been collected internationally and continues to reflect her belief in art as a source of connection, inspiration, and transformation.
While her journey has included many creative achievements, it has also been shaped by personal challenges, loss, and periods of uncertainty. These experiences have profoundly influenced both the person and the artist behind MAZZOH, inspiring a belief that beauty, resilience, and growth can emerge even from life's most difficult moments. Themes of hope, transformation, and inner strength continue to be present throughout her artistic work.
What began as an artistic vision eventually evolved into Helena's first collections of pocket squares and scarves, bringing her art from the canvas into the world of wearable design. Years later, a commissioned artwork for COR Agency reignited her passion for textiles and inspired her to further develop what would become MAZZOH.
The name MAZZOH was inspired by parts of Helena's surnames and reflects her personal heritage, identity, and creative freedom. Every design begins with an artistic vision and is carefully developed into pieces intended to be worn, treasured, and enjoyed for years to come.
Many MAZZOH scarves originate from Helena's original artworks, allowing collectors and customers to wear a piece of her artistic universe. Over time, the collections have also evolved to include timeless and classic patterns, offering something for different styles, personalities, and occasions.
At the heart of MAZZOH is Helena's belief that what we wear should be more than an accessory. It should tell a story, express individuality, and create an emotional connection. Every scarf reflects her passion for colour and composition, carrying a small piece of her creative journey.
With more than 300 original designs waiting to be transformed into future collections, MAZZOH continues to grow. While still in the early stages of its journey, Helena personally packs and ships every order herself, ensuring that each scarf receives the care and attention it deserves. Every MAZZOH scarf is handled with love, carrying not only a design, but also a piece of Helena's artistic vision, passion, and dedication.
